I was able to put myself in the position of the time, thanks to the historical objects. For example the clothes or the pictures. (Livia)
The exhibition created a deeper understanding of how expansive the American Dream really was. The 5 stations showed the multifaceted dreams of diverse groups in the society really clearly and it was impressive how the exhibition managed to put each of us in the shoes of these people through the use of many different media. (Marlene)
The exhibition was a bit confusing, but the guide explained everything very clearly and in detail. (Liese)
The American Dreams exhibition and the fantastic guide showed us impressivly the different sides and perspektives of the American Dream. We got to know several biographies of people who were wether winner or looser of this dream. We learnt a lot about the American history and its connection to the European and even German past.
